Birdie
“I want to provide happy memories for both kids and adults, that will hopefully live with them forever”
Birdie has been with Relax Rentals since 2019 when it first started, she is actually a key player in the renovation of the properties! She even helped pick out the names for the cottages at Old Pike Cottages. It’s hard for her to pick out just one reason why she loves Relax Rentals so we’ve decided to list a few:
How close everything is to town
The views!
The pool (At OPC)
The beautiful green space
And most importantly, how clean everything is
Birdie is the glue that holds this team together and it doesn’t stop there. Not only is she a mom to 3 awesome kids, she also volunteers at the local school and coaches baseball! Despite having her days filled with activities, she still finds time to hit the beach at least once a week and grab a bite from some of her favorite restaurants in town (The Southerner, Wally’s, Phil’s, Wicks, The BARge, Farmhouse, and Spectators). On rainy days she recommends taking a ride on the Star of Saugatuck since they have a lovely indoor lower level and a covered top deck.
If you see Birdie on your stay, let her know how awesome she is because this place wouldn’t be the same without her!
Jenni
“I love doing whatever I can to make their stay as magical as these places are!”
Jenni has been with Relax Rentals since June of 2020. She is the biggest sweetheart and will go out of her way to make sure your vacation is as spectacular as possible. Jenni, like Birdie, is a super-mom with two kids and a lot on her plate. That being said, you would never know it. This girl is cool as a cucumber! Some of her favorite things about Relax Rentals are the atmosphere, the staff, and meeting all the new guests! When she is not at the cottages, you can find her working out at Encompass Wellness (getting absolutely shredded), hiking the state park, fishing, collecting rocks/shells at the beach, and honestly just doing good deeds for people.
Her favorite restaurants include Wicks Park, Borrowed Time, The Grill Room at Clearbrook, Coast 236, and Bowdie’s Chophouse.
Rainy days don’t stop this girl as she can still be found out hiking, fishing, and as she puts it “puddle jumping.”
Chances are, when you run into Jenni on your vacation, even just a short conversation with this gem will melt away any stress. We highly recommend you get your daily dose of Jenni on your stay!
Josie
“Not a day goes by where we are not passing laughs and smiles along to our guests and coworkers”
Josie has been with Relax Rentals since the summer of 2019. Though she is the youngest crew member, she is wise beyond her years and keeps us all on track most of the time. Her favorite thing about Relax Rentals is how involved we are about making your stay the absolute best. Whether it’s answering your questions, booking your reservation, or cleaning your room, we are here to make your vacation exceptional.
Being from Saugatuck, she knows some of the best places to eat. If you catch her out and about, you would definitely find her at Ida Reds, Wally’s, The Butler, and Farmhouse Deli.
When she is not at the cottages she loves to ride horses, take walks with her dogs, and spend quality time outside doing just about anything. However, if she is feeling particularly patient, she likes to hit the thrift stores. On rainy days she likes to clean, bake, and watch any hallmark movie available. Josie is truly spectacular!
